It's been a very busy past couple of weeks, and great to be home for some days before the next phase. As I look back over these last days I have realised again just how great the people of God are. October and November have seen trips to the USA and Norway, as well as to various churches in the UK, the latest of which were Southport and Manchester last week.
I have to say that everywhere I have been I have met brothers and sisters who are absolutely thirsty for more of the Spirit of God - and finding that God is more than willing to pour out the Living Water. This is incredibly encouraging. For example, the trip to Harstad in Norway was intended to be a leaders' conference. But so many others wanted to come that the organisers opened it up for anybody. People drove for hours to be there in the presence of God. Needless to say we had a great time. In Southport and Manchester there was a fantastic atmosphere of faith and joy and longing when the people came together.
Sometimes I hear leaders say, 'We're on the verge of something significant in the purpose of God'. I don't believe that: we are in something significant in God right now!
